Compassion Focussed Group Therapy
Learn how evolution has given us brains that are highly sensitive to running on threat responses and how growing the muscle of compassion can create a more soothing inner experience and better connections with others.
Spend twelve weeks learning about how our brains work and how compassion can help as you apply this knowledge to your self with help and support from a therapist and the other members of your group. Then spend a further twenty weeks integrating what you have learned into your life while practising and experimenting within the group.
This is a great place to start if you have found groupwork challenging in the past or if you are aware that your inner world is prey to shame or self-criticism.
